*Must have one fire extinguisher onboard. (2 recommended, one within reach of the driver and one within reach of safety crew) – example ORA extinguisher Mount

*Neck restraint recommended but not required. Neck collars are not very expensive and after racing 1.5hrs you’ll be happy you had it.
*Must have battery hold down. Bungee cord and ratchet strap doesn’t count.
*No auxiliary fuel storage in the cab or bed. *Race number readable on driver-side – Recommend both sides and the front but driver side is the minimal requirement
*Rear-facing light – Must have rear-facing light. Amber, green or blue ONLY. Stock taillights DO NOT qualify, must strobe/flash, CANNOT be solid on.
Cheap easy examples

*Passenger must be 10 years old or older
*10-15 years old can race BUT must have an 18+ year old passenger
*Event crew has the right to deem vehicle unsafe and pull you from the race
*Points follow driver not car – driver can drive 3 different cars throughout the season but someone else cannot race for you.
*You get one qualifying lap included in your entry fee
*If you do not like your qualifying lap you are allowed to buy back in for $10. You can buy back in up to 2 more times, equaling 3 chances
*To buy back in you restage in line and pay the flag guy the $10 fee
*When the Qualifying line closes based on the schedule no one is allowed to get in line afterward, whether its to buy back in or qualify in general
*If you don’t qualify, you start in the back of the line-up
*Driver's must be registered and tech'ed in before the start of the Driver's meeting to be able to race.
*Added BONUS – First 5 to line up for qualifying get to do a parade lap
*Qualifying for all classes starts at the posted schedule time.
*Must stay within 50ft of marked course center line. If you leave the course or drive around an obstacle it is considered cutting course and you will be disqualified.
*Exception is a trail plug; you are allowed to make a path around broken rigs blocking the trail.
*Once the allotted race duration is up you have 10 min to finish the lap you are on for it to count.
*No outside help during the race. If someone outside the race helps you will be disqualified. (Racers from your race only)
*Racers are allowed to help other racers during the race – Another racer can bring you parts but outside help cannot
*No going the wrong way on the course. You will be disqualified, no exceptions.
*If you leave the course by accident you must re-enter where you went off course
*Must stop at the finish line to get your lap counted
*Checkpoints are speed zones – 15mph – Speeding is a 5 min penalty
*15 MPH speed limit in pits – Speeding is a 5 min penalty
* Anyone is allowed to help in the pit area
*No speeding in the pits. 15mph speed limit
*Enter and exit pits in marked locations
*Vehicle must retain a mostly stock frame, (factory frame repairs allowed if done in a factory fashion determined by RBOR).
*No larger than 35″ tire.
*Rebuildable shocks are allowed but Limited to 2.0 Diameter.
*Air Bump stops are allowed
*No full width or 1-ton axle swaps if wasn’t a factory option.
*No motor swaps – engine must have been a factory option with exception of you can swap if that engine was a factory opinion in that vehicle – Example – can swap a jeep 2.5 4cyl for a 4.0 inline 6cyl since was a factory option.
*No aftermarket power adders. Turbo or supercharger is allowed if came the factory.
*Must retain factory type suspension. Bolt-on lift kits, spring over, shackle reversals, etc are allowed as long as retains factory type suspension. No linked suspension where leaf springs were once present. No custom suspension.
*Factory seat belts allowed but aftermarket harnesses highly recommended.
*Must be four-wheel drive.
*Vehicle must maintain 50% or more body
*No Buggys.
*Limited to 1 rebuildable shock per corner. Dual monotube shocks allowed.
*Vehicle must maintain 50% factory frame – Example – 144” long frame would require a minimum of 72” of factory frame left to qualify – Length determined off what would be factory front bumper location to factory rear bumper location.
*Vehicle must maintain 50% factory body.
*4pt basic roll cage or more highly recommended but not required. Must have a structurally intact roof if no cage. – RBOR crew has the right to deem unsafe to race.
*Factory seat belts allowed but aftermarket harnesses highly recommended.
*Open vehicle class with exception of no SXS’s.
*Chassis must be safe – RBOR/Twisted Trails crew has the right to deem unsafe to race.
*Must have 4pt or more harnesses.
*N/A class is open for SXS’s that are naturally aspirated (no nitrous)*Must be 1000cc or less (Overboring and stroking allowed) Over 1000cc OEM gets bumped to turbo/power adder class*Tuner, exhaust and other upgrades are allowed – Just not forced air or nitrous
*Turbo/Power adder class is for SxS’s with a turbo, supercharged and/or nitrous
*Also includes production based SxS’s over 1000cc – example Pro R
Both classes
*Must have a minimum of factory cage. Aftermarket cage highly recommended.
*Factory seat belts allowed but aftermarket harnesses highly recommended.
*Must be a factory production SxS powertrain
* Open to 500 cc Machines
* Racers ages 12-16 years old
* Racers will run a 1.5-2 mile track (all or a portion of truck course)
* Must pass tech requirements
* Open to 170/200 cc Machines
* Racers ages up to12 years old
* Racers will run a modified course in the "bowl"area
* Must pass tech requirements
This tech form is the basic safety requirements needed to race.
You don’t have to fill this out, it is just for your reference of what will be checked at the sign in desk the day of the race before you are allowed to race.
